BIBLE BASIS: 1 CORINTHIANS 15:1-11, 20-22

BIBLE  TRUTH: JESUS' RESURRECTION PROVIDED TANGIBLE EVIDENCE OF THE POSSIBILITY OF RESURRECTION FOR THOSE WHOSE IDENTITY IS FORMED BY CHRIST JESUS.

Memory Verse: "FOR AS IN ADAM ALL DIE, EVEN SO IN CHRIST SHALL ALL BE MADE ALIVE" 1 CORINTHIANS 15:22

Lesson AIM:  By the end of the lesson, your students will: explore the meaning of Christ's resurrection; value and appreciate our identity in Jesus Christ; and witness personally and corporately to the resurrection of Jesus Christ. 

Background Scripture: 1 John 4-5; Romans 8:31-39

Lesson AIM:  By the end of the lesson your students will: RESEARCH John's caution to beware of those who do not abide in Christ's teachings; REFLECT on the emotional response to teachings that are contrary to what they have been previously taught; and TESTIFY that walking in Jesus commandment to love protects the faith community from deceivers and corruption.
