 IN AWE OF CHRIST'S PRESENCE

 

BIBLE BASIS: MATTHEW 14:22-36

BIBLE  TRUTH:  MATTHEW TELLS ABOUT THE TIMES WHEN JESUS MIRACULOUSLY WALKED ON WATER TO MEET HIS DISCIPLES I A BOAT, WHICH LED THEM TO WORSHIP HIM AS TRULY THE SON OF GOD, AND WHEN JESUS HEALED THE SICK. 

 

Memory Verse: " AND WHEN THEY WERE COME INTO THE SHIP, THE WIND CEASED.  THEN THEY THAT WERE IN THE SHIP CAME AND WORSHIPED HIM, SAYING, OF A TRUTH THOU ART THE SON OF GOD." MATTHEW 14:32-33

 

Lesson AIM:  By the end of the lesson, your students will: REVIEW the disciples' response to Jesus' miracles; be INSPIRED by the miracles of Jesus and YEARN to become faithful worshipers and BELIEVE in Jesus' miracles and commit to being prayerful encouragers of others.
